A crisis engine is a piece of technology derived from Isaac Dan der Grimnebulin's Crisis theory. Only one device is known to have been built and subsequently destroyed.

Description[]

The crisis engine went through several iterations. The first iteration was described as a "banging, spitting circuit of pipes and wire" that ultimately failed to fulfill its function. By the time of the final iteration, the crisis engine was able to execute incredibly complex and contradictory mathematical calculations in order to generate crisis, which it then converted into energy according to punch-card programs fed into the device. The energy generated was outputted through a specialized valve that could be attached to a variety of adapters.
